Privacy Policy
This policy covers the websites on ironwoodsoft.com and the browser extensions we publish. It describes what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
What we collect on our websites
- Aggregate page analytics. We use cookieless analytics that record page views and referrers in aggregate. It does not build a profile of you, does not follow you across other sites, and does not use cookies.
- What you type into a tool. Tools run in your browser. We do not receive the contents of a form you fill in unless the tool explicitly says it is sending something.
- Payment details, if you buy something. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the email address you gave at checkout. We never see or store your card number.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply.
What our browser extensions do
- Each extension requests only the permissions its stated function requires. The listing for each extension states what those permissions are used for.
- Extensions do not collect your browsing history for our benefit, do not sell data, and do not inject advertising or affiliate links into pages.
- If an extension needs to check whether a paid feature is unlocked, it sends only a licence key and its own version number — never the pages you visit or their contents.
- Uninstalling an extension stops all of this. Where an extension stores a local setting, it lives in your browser's own storage.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising networks or cross-site trackers on our sites.
- We do not share your data with anyone except the processors needed to run the service (payments via Stripe, hosting via Cloudflare), or where the law requires it.
How long we keep things
Aggregate analytics are retained in summary form. Support emails are kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires, by Stripe on our behalf.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Ask us and we will action the request. If you have bought something and want the record removed, we will honour that except where we are legally required to keep it.
Children
These tools are built for working professionals and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above. Continuing to use the sites or extensions after a change means you accept the updated policy.
